Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan executed Bhoomi pujan for construction of six lane cement concrete road at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Nagar, Kolar, Bhopal on Saturday. CM Chouhan also addressed the audience on this occasion. He said the road construction works should be done as a matter of priority within the time frame given to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Nagar.
The six-lane CC road will be 15 kilometers long and its estimated cost is around Rs 225 crores. The road will not require any repairs for the next 30 years. “This project is carried out with a new vision of development, whenever a road is built, it should not be dug again and again. The municipality, district administration and public works department should stop digging roads. The work should be done with advanced means and detailed planning. A systematic plan is being prepared and implemented for the same,” Chouhan said.
CM Chouhan further said that the Department of Sports should complete the works quickly by removing obstacles to the construction of the stadium near the locality of Banjari. A mini stadium would be built in Hinotia Alam. “There is only one police station on Kolar Road although the population is increasing. Necessary arrangements will be made for this. Elevated roads and Bhopal cable car will change the image of the city. Bhopal will also become a leader in the cleanliness industry in the future,” Chouhan said.
Chouhan praised citizens for making the city the cleanest capital today. Furthermore, Chouhan said, “All the girls who come under the Ladli Lakshmi program, their parents will not have to pay their school fees.
